Throughout her dynamic career, Allyson Tomchin has touched many lives and organizations with her uncanny ability to identify and isolate areas of issue that have complicated growth and success. With her sound technical background, Allyson brings a sense of urgency and clarity through her Goal Oriented Approach by systematically dissecting complex matters and addressing solutions, not problems.
Allyson has honed her vast skills in various complex arenas including clinical substance abuse, families and children, government, not-for-profit, law enforcement, academia, the judicial system, and corporate training and education. She has been recognized for her outstanding work through the collaborations of the public & private sectors to benefit children. Truly an accomplished professional, Allyson seeks to share her focus and effort with those in search of even greater success and higher achievements.
Allyson’s contributions to the public sector have been vast. She has worked with individuals and families in the substance abuse field through Broward County Alcohol and Drug Abuse. She has specialized in program development and has been instrumental in facilitating involuntary assistance through The Marchman Act for substance abusers through the Broward County Courts and Broward County Alcohol and Drug Abuse. As a believer in public education, she created Cool School, a not-for-profit gang prevention program in Miami-Dade County Schools, in coordination with Barry University and The Miami Beach Police Department. Allyson also coordinated medical, legal, case management, therapeutic, & educational services for over 900 families at Fienberg Fisher Elementary School on Miami Beach. Allyson has worked with high conflict couples and families for many years. As an active member in her professional associations, she provided clinical supervision for both Bachelors & Masters level Social Work Interns from Florida International University, Florida State University, and Barry University, and she has consulted on a multitude of levels, including program evaluations with The University of Miami and The United States Department of Education. Allyson's skills have been invaluable in the private sector. As manager of training and customer relations for technology driven businesses, she developed and facilitated effective cross-functional technical/manufacturing/ sales and marketing teams. She made possible the successful introduction of untried product technology to a customer base by developing new sales approaches, training methods, tools, and manuals. Her diverse experience and many successes have equipped her with the distinction, leadership, and discipline necessary to direct ideas and dreams into reachable goals and realities. Currently in private practice, she devotes her time and energy to Life Coaching, Family Mediation and Parenting Coordination. She has coached hundreds of individuals in reaching their goals and achieving their highest potential. Allyson’s main focus through coaching is Life Balance and living true to oneself. As a Parenting Coordinator, Allyson assists parents who are entrenched in the difficulties of co-parenting after they have divorced. She facilitates their parenting plan and helps them to remain child focused by reducing conflict, making decisions and reaching agreements that are in the best interest of their children. In Family Mediation Allyson works with couples to create Settlement Agreements that are fair and equitable during the difficult process of divorce.
Her strength lies in developing relationships with an eye to reaching a goal. The unique element that she brings to her work is a total focus on you and your success. She is driven in her efforts to help you reach your absolute maximum potential.
Allyson is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Barry University. Allyson is an active member of NAWBO, The National Association of Women’s Business Owners and a Continuing Education Provider for the State of Florida in the field of Mental Health.
